NotCHESS collects zero data. Your games, moves, and preferences stay on your device.
🎮 How It Works
NotCHESS is a 100% client-side application. Everything runs in your browser:
- Game state stored only in your browser's local storage
- No servers process your moves
- No analytics or tracking
- No third-party services involved
💾 Local Storage
NotCHESS may store game preferences locally on your device (like board orientation). This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Can be cleared anytime (browser storage settings)
- Is not shared or sold
🌐 What We Don't Track
- No user accounts or logins
- No game history collection
- No device identifiers
- No IP addresses or location data
- No advertising or analytics pixels
📱 App Installation
When you install NotCHESS as a PWA app on your phone:
- Your phone's app store may collect installation metadata (handled by Apple/Google)
- NotCHESS itself sends nothing to any server
